In Alpine Trails, you design the trail system of a national forest in the Rocky Mountains. You build trails that wind through different habitats and past waterfalls, develop campsites, and leave other areas untouched as pristine habitat for alpine wildlife.

How it plays

All players simultaneously draw 2 random tiles and place them in their own parks. You earn points for:

  • Creating a long out-and-back trail
  • Forming large areas of contiguous habitat
  • Surrounding waterfalls
  • Reaching lakes
  • Making space for wildlife
  • Placing campsites
