BANG! is a card game that recreates an old-fashioned spaghetti western shoot-out. Each player is randomly dealt a Character card that grants a special ability and a secret Role card that sets their goal.

Roles

• Sheriff: eliminate all the Outlaws and the Renegade.
• Deputy: protect the Sheriff and eliminate any Outlaws.
• Outlaw: eliminate the Sheriff.
• Renegade: be the last player standing.

Roles stay hidden, except for the Sheriff. Character cards are placed face up on the table and also show each player's strength (hand limit) as well as their special ability.

How It Plays

• The draw deck contains 22 different types of cards.
• BANG! cards are the most common. They let you shoot another player who is within range of your current gun, and the target can dodge by playing a MISSED! card.
• Other cards give temporary boosts while in play, such as different guns to extend your range, or one-time effects that help you or hinder opponents, such as Beer to restore health or Barrels to hide behind.
• A horse helps you keep your distance from unruly neighbours, and the Winchester can hit a target at range 5.
• The Gatling ignores range entirely: it can be used only once, but it targets every other player at the table.
