BATSU! is a party card game in which players take on challenges to avoid humiliating or mildly painful punishments. It is based on a live Japanese punishment game show staged in NYC and Chicago.

How it plays

• Challenges: Each round, a different player is the judge. The judge draws a Challenge Card for the other players to compete in, such as telling a story or acting as props in a play.
• Audience suggestions: A separate deck of suggestions changes up each challenge. For example, a Place Card could set the scene anywhere from a baseball field to Mars.
• Punishments: The judge picks the player who did the worst, and that player is punished game-show style. Punishments range from humiliating, like phoning a friend to tell an embarrassing story about yourself, to mildly painful, like having an arm hair plucked.
