Bonk (EN)
Bonk is a fast-rolling ricochet game that works best with four players. Roll steel balls down your slide to knock the wooden ball in the central arena into your opponents' goal.
How it plays
Players compete in teams of two, with each team defending one goal between them. If you play on your own, you will likely need to alternate between slides, since it is hard to roll balls down both at once. Run out of steel balls and you are at your opponents' mercy until they shoot, which will probably land a steel ball on your side. Knock the wooden ball into your opponents' goal to score a point, and the next round starts with the steel balls staying on whichever half of the board they are currently on. The first team to score five points wins.
How it compares to Rollet
Bonk has the same gameplay as Rollet, but with a few differences that affect play:
- Bonk's board is smaller, so games tend to be faster
- Its board is made from a single piece of curved wood, whereas Rollet's is made from two, which changes the curve and the movement of the balls
- Bonk's slides are plastic, while Rollet's are wooden
