Clank! is a deck-building board game in which players play thieves sneaking into a dragon's mountain lair to steal artifacts. The deeper you go, the more valuable the loot, but every careless sound attracts the dragon's attention, and every artifact taken makes it angrier. You only get to enjoy your plunder if you make it back out alive.

How It Plays

• Each player has their own deck, and building it up is part of the game. Everyone starts with the same cards but acquires different ones over time, so each deck and strategy develops differently.
• Each turn starts with a hand of five cards, which you can play in any order.
• Cards mainly generate three resources: Skill to acquire new cards, Swords to fight the monsters in the dungeon, and Boots to move around the board.
• New cards go face up into your discard pile. When your deck runs out, you shuffle the discard pile to form a new deck, so your newest cards join a bigger, stronger deck.

Goals

• Retrieve an Artifact token and escape the dragon by returning to the starting point outside the dungeon.
• Collect enough points from your Artifact and other loot to outscore your opponents and earn the title of Greatest Thief in the Realm.
