Creepshow (EN)
Creepshow is a competitive story-building game in which players take on the role of “Creeps” and build deliciously horrible stories to send bad people to their well-deserved demises. Each villain's story unfolds in three acts.
How It Plays
The game uses story cards and suspense cards. Story cards link together into a chain that tells the story of each villain, while suspense cards are what make the story work.
On your turn you choose to either Creep or Show:
- Creep: discard any story cards you no longer want, draw back up to 7, then play a suspense card (valued -2, 1, 2 or 3) face-down onto a villain's stack so the other players cannot see it.
- Show: play a story card from your hand onto a villain's story chain. Effects include earning points, looking at suspense already in place and adding suspense cards of your own.
Some story cards have a branching path, letting you choose how the story goes and guess how much suspense the villain has built up. If the suspense is equal to or more than your choice, you earn points and adjust the suspense stack before the next turn.
Use your suspense cards wisely and try not to let any villain escape the fate they have earned.
