Dragonwood (EN)
Deep in the mythical forest of Dragonwood lurk angry ogres, giggling goblins and fire-breathing dragons. In Dragonwood, you collect sets of adventurer cards to earn dice, which you then roll against your foes.
On your turn, you either draw a card or try to capture a creature or enhancement. The Adventurer deck has cards in five colours numbered 1 to 12, and you form combinations to attempt a Strike (cards in a row of any colour), a Stomp (cards of the same number) or a Scream (cards of the same colour). To capture, you roll a number of dice equal to the number of cards in the combination. Each creature has its own minimum Strike, Stomp or Scream value needed to capture it, and a Victory Point amount.
The Dragonwood deck has 42 cards, five of which are displayed in the landscape at any time. Besides creatures, it holds enhancements that help you capture creatures and events that affect play. When both dragons have been defeated, the player with the most victory points wins.
