Each card has a point value and a special action that is carried out when it is played; the lower the value, the stronger the power. Cards must also be played to a specific position on the table, and in most cases you pick up the card that was there before, so planning your tea service matters. The round ends when a player plays the "Elevenses" card. Players then compare the value of their cards and points go to the highest-scoring teas. The game continues until a player reaches 7 or more points and wins.

Key Features

Identical starting hands of eleven cards for every player

Card powers that lead to surprising interactions between players

Includes the six-card expansion Elevenses: The Special Guests, which deals each player a secret guest card that raises the value of their tea when the right cards are played

Game #2 in The Mike Line of games from Grail Games
