Fives (EN)

Fives is a trick-taking game for three or four players. The reverse side of every card shows a magenta 5.

How It Plays

  • A must-follow game with a fixed trump suit: if you can follow suit you must
  • In many cases you can instead play a card face down as a magenta 5, but only one magenta 5 may appear in any trick
  • The winner of a trick takes all cards played to it, with their card on top
  • At the end of a hand, players whose top cards sum to more than 25 lose points, and those at 25 or less win points, with the most going to whoever is closest to 25
  • The player with the most points after four rounds wins
