Scout (EN)

Scout is a ladder-climbing card game in which every card has two possible values. You may not rearrange your hand, but you can rotate the whole hand to use the values on the other end of each card.

How It Plays

  • The 45 cards are dual-indexed, covering all combinations of the numbers 1-10
  • On your turn, either Play a set of adjacent cards with matching or consecutive values that beats the set on the table, or Scout by taking a card from either end of that set into your hand
  • Beating a set captures its cards, and the player whose set was scouted earns a point token
  • Once per round you can scout and then immediately play
  • Play as many rounds as there are players; the most points wins
