Skull King (EN)

Skull King is a trick-taking game with bidding, in a brand-new edition. Before each round you look at your cards and predict how many tricks you will win; get your bid right and you score, get it wrong and you lose points.

How It Plays

  • Four pirate-themed suits numbered 1-14, with the Jolly Roger as the trump suit
  • Twelve special cards: five Pirates that beat any numbered card, the unbeatable Skull King (with a big bonus for capturing a pirate), five Escapes that let you avoid winning, and the Tigress, which can be played as either a Pirate or an Escape
  • All players bid at the same time, and you can score with a big bid or with a zero bid

This edition adds refined card art, updated graphic design, optional advanced rules and scoring, a new score pad, 2-player rules and the white whale.
