Tax the Rich is a trick-taking game with a deck of characters from every social rank, from the Poor to the President. Each round starts with a simple bidding phase that sets the trump colour and the number of tricks needed to score bonus points; the bid winner must take that many tricks together with an ally.

How It Plays

• The highest social ranks are the strongest cards, but if every card left in your hand shows a flag symbol you can call a revolution, flipping the hierarchy so the lowest ranks become the most powerful. You then play the rest of the round with your cards face up
• Thirteen rule cards give certain characters profession-themed abilities, such as Workers who unionize, Billionaires who power grab, Police who stop and frisk, and Scientists who debunk. Use them at random or follow one of the scenarios in the rules
• An optional variant lets players collect cards with a feminist icon to trigger a feminist revolution that boosts all female characters
