Tokkuri Taking (EN)
A card game themed around tokkuri, the traditional Japanese sake drinking vessel. Each card in your hand is either played face down as a tokkuri, or played face up to lower the sake level in the tokkuri on the table that match the card's number(s).
A round ends when everyone has played all their cards. Players score points for tokkuri they emptied and lose points for those in front of them that are still too full. The lowest scorer then takes tokens from the other players equal to the score difference. The game ends when one player has lost all their tokens or a set number of rounds has been played, and the player with the most tokens wins.
