War of the Ring - The Card Game (EN)

A card game inspired by the War of the Ring board game, set in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. Up to 4 players compete in two teams, the Shadow against the Free Peoples, each using a different faction deck with its own strengths and weaknesses.

The Free Peoples try to complete the quest to destroy the One Ring while defending their homelands. The Shadow must strike fast before the Ring-bearers finish, or slowly corrupt Frodo. Players take turns playing cards for characters, armies, items and events, which help or hinder the Fellowship on its Path or are used to defend or conquer strongholds on the Battleground cards activated each round.
