War of the Ring - The Card Game: Fire and Swords (EN)

An expansion for War of the Ring - The Card Game, designed by Ian Brody. It opens up the War in the North with new battlegrounds and factions, and introduces a new location type called Skirmishes, featuring characters from The Lord of the Rings.

Three new factions join the war: the Northmen for the Free Peoples, and the Easterlings and Ruffians for the Shadow. The expansion supports up to six players, with scenarios adapted for smaller groups, and adds new Shadow cards for solo and cooperative play that work with the Against the Shadow expansion.

  • 9 additional paths and 9 new battlegrounds
  • 13 skirmishes representing smaller settlements and fortifications, such as the Fords of Isen and Bree

Features
