In Fearless, you walk through a gloomy forest and try to stay on the safe path. If you wander astray, you try to turn back as close to the path as possible. The closer you are to the safe path, the less fear you suffer. Not walking at all is no alternative, as you would remain behind on your own in the scary ruin. After several rounds, the most fearless player wins.

How It Plays

• Fearless is a simple trick-taking game with four suits and no trump. The highest-value card in the led suit wins the trick.
• Card values are not all positive, as they usually are in trick-taking games: each suit runs from +6 to -6, so you collect both negative and positive cards.
• The aim is a balanced score, collecting both minus and plus points. That is possible for every player in theory, but you are playing against each other, and the others are always pleased when they can scare you with a handful of points.
